For this shot, I'd suggest that the b/g be closer to the camera ... about 10 - 12 feet in front of you.  You could even move back slightly to get more table in the foreground then have them right behind the table on the right at 10 feet.  Cut off their feet too.

Shoot a few with the flash at f 8 @ 1/2 second ... to flash the couple and bring in the room. 

Then I usually pull the flash cord, have them kiss and take another couple.  I also tend to open up to 5.6 or 4 for these.
