Posing and more dribble on diffusion

The new chair is great ... can someone go out and get a big piece of black fabric that will cover it for use on the dark background?  Also, compositionally, the photo on the right has some problems - her head is too much straight above his head making a straight line not a triangle .. also, she will probably like the representation of her hips better on the left photo than the right.  Perhaps I could have had her lean in over the back from the other direction?  Covering more of her and yet still getting her in the right spot.  I still think it's cute but I'm not sure she will buy it. 

Diffusion ... the left shot has F16, main at F16 w/ the number one diffuser ... I think it does these people justice vrs. the right shot with no diffusion.  It is enough without being too much.  Remember though that it needs good contrast from highlight to shadow 1.5 - 2 stops and it need a hair light creating contrast in the hair ... without those items it is way too flat and muddy.
