Too Far away from each other!

The mom needs to be about 3 inches away from the baby.  This is way too far away.   Also, the light is far to the right ... almost making profile lighting on the mom.   90 degrees from the camera ...not the normal 45 degrees to your right.

And best ... 2 inches away.  She could have a hair light if possible.  And it is better if her hair is pulled back from her face.  And if her nose looks too big, have her move the top of her head away from you so you see her more full face as she looks at the baby ... that will visually put more face behind her nose making it appear smaller.
