Before you go on a wedding, find an album or set
of proofs that is from the venue you will be going to. and STUDY it.
what kind of pix were taken. and how was the lighting done.
When at the wedding TAKE PEOPLE SHOTS!! be
friendly and go up to groups have them put drinks down and photograph them.
Dress for success. Black for women is always
good. Be sure you aren't more or less dressed than the guests.
When taking pix, if you don't know how to light
something or have any questions. Ask the seasoned photographer. They
would love to give you input.
After the wedding the burden lies on you to get
Scott Todd, Curt or Eric to critique your pix. EACH time do this so you
learn more and more each time.
Scott will be doing some classroom teaching in
January when things quiet down. So good luck til then. Thanks Eric
for these ideas.
