Great Job on this small out door grouping in the city ...
Nice spacing between the people, informal, short lighting on the woman, the setting has depth and dimension, the exposure is perfect and comes across well in black and white.
I like this one even better since the everyone in the group has a different pose, the girl looks very graceful, they all look comfortable and either "in their own poses" or completely comfortable with the poses given to them. The setting again has dimension and depth ... and the exposure is perfect.
I'd love to see this with short light on the girl as well but it would have been impossible given the setting and lighting conditions ... great job!
The exposure on this one is:
 | Meter the light w/ flat disk aimed from the subjects nose straight towards the camera - f8 @ 30th |
| Aim fill flash from close to camera at subjects and meter it with the meter set at 250th ... get it to f5.6 1/2. |
| Expose at f 8 @ 30th. |
This will allow the shadows to be filled in, while making the fill invisible and allowing you to use the natural light that is there.
