 | The couple is framed visually in the door - including the door ads to this shot |
| The camera is set for the exposure behind the couple. Take the cover off your Minolta, aim it at the courtyard from behind the b/g and take your reading. |
| In this case a normal reading from the b/g towards the camera would have been about f 5.6 @ 15th while the reading taken toward the background without the flat disk would be f8 @ 60th as Curt set the camera. |
| Note also that the far right shot with them kissing is best because it converts a shot with all vertical lines to a triangle composition! |

behind the subject ... not the subject.
